Alexis Avakian has been practising combat sports from an early age, including karate, kung fu and Thai boxing. In 2004, he turned to Japanese jujitsu and obtained his black belt. The transition to Jjb took place in 2017. He is very active in competition, having won 3 times the French Gi and Nogi championships with blue and purple belts, and 3rd place at the European championships with a brown belt, while at the same time winning numerous Opens.

Neurologist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Champion

Born in 1992, Lina Grosset embodies excellence in both the medical field and the martial arts. A neurologist by profession, she has enjoyed a brilliant career while establishing herself as one of the rising stars of Brazilian jiu-jitsu on the international scene.

Although her career in jiu-jitsu began late, with her first club registration on 1 January 2021, Lina has quickly risen through the ranks. Currently a brown belt, she is already competing with the black belts and shining in the most prestigious competitions on the AJP circuit.

In Master 1, she made her mark by winning the World Champion 2024 title and taking wins at the Grand Slams in Dallas, China, Russia and Rome, as well as finishing second in Rio. In the Pro category, she also made her mark with victories at the Grand Slams in Russia and China, as well as a second place in Rio.

Always looking for new challenges, Lina took part in the first French edition of the ADXC and wore the colours of the French CFJJB and FFL teams, confirming her status as an elite athlete.

Between her medical career and her sporting achievements, Lina Grosset is an example of determination and passion, proving that you can excel in two demanding worlds through hard work and perseverance.
